Yes, in addition to completing the eight Principles of Manufacturing (PoM) courses and earning the MITx MicroMasters Credential, there are other requirements that need to be fulfilled in order to be eligible to go on campus for the MEng program.
Applicants need to go through the regular admission process and be admitted to the MEng program. Earning the MITx MicroMasters Credential alone does not guarantee admission. However, having the MicroMasters Credential allows the admissions committee to consider a more comprehensive track record for each applicant, which can be beneficial during the evaluation process.
