Institutions and graduate programs not listed on a MicroMasters Program's Pathways Page are not required to recognize the Program Credential as equivalent to or interchangeable with graduate credits. However, if you aspire to complete the SCM MicroMasters program and use it to gain admission to a graduate degree program at an institution that is not currently listed on the Pathways to Graduate Degrees page, we would love to know about it—and perhaps build a credit pathway with that institution. Please have a staff or faculty member from the graduate program connect with us at mitx.micromasters@mit.edu.
By initiating communication with the MITx MicroMasters team, you can express your interest in the specified institution and program, and discuss the potential for developing a credit pathway that would allow you to transfer your MicroMasters Program Credential toward the Master's program at that institution.
The MITx MicroMasters program team is best able to provide further guidance and information about the process of establishing credit pathways with new institutions. However, it's important to understand that the possibility of establishing a new credit pathway may depend on various factors, including the policies and requirements of the desired institution and the alignment of its curriculum with the MicroMasters program. We cannot guarantee that it will be possible to create a pathway to any particular program or institution—or how long it might take to create such a pathway should it be possible. Therefore, we strongly advise that prospective learners contact the MITx MicroMasters team for more specific details and assistance as soon as possible.
