Once you complete an MITx MicroMasters or other program on the MIT Learn/MITx Online platform, you can share your Program Record with others, including employers and institutions.

How to access your Program Record
- Navigate to your MIT Learn Dashboard, at https://learn.mit.edu/dashboard
- Locate the Enrollment Card for the appropriate program — it will be tagged with the word "Program", show the name of the program, and present a "View Certificate" link if you've completed it
- Open the options menu (︙) next to the program's "View" button, and select the "Program Record" option to access its Program Record
How to enable/disable sharing for your Program Record
By default, each of your Program Records is private. You must enable sharing explicitly for each Program Record that you want others to be able to access.
On a Program Record, if sharing has not been enabled, you will see an "Allow Record Sharing" button at the top-right. Click the button to enable sharing for this Program Record.
Once sharing is enabled, new buttons will appear in the same location. Click the "Revoke Sharing" button to disable sharing for this record.
- If you disable sharing for a Program Record, the link created by the "Share" feature will stop working. Anyone who has been given this link will not be able to access your Program Record until you re-enable sharing
- However, if you have sent your Program Record to any Partner/Pathway schools via the "Send Learner Record" feature, they will still be able to access your Program Record
How to create a shareable link to your Program Record
Once sharing is enabled, the "Share" button on your Program Record will provide you with a weblink/URL. You can copy and paste this link and send it to anyone.
- As long as sharing is enabled for your Program Record, anyone with the link will be able to access it
- If you disable sharing with the "Revoke Sharing" button, the link will no longer allow access to your Program Record
How to send your Program Record to a Partner/Pathway school
For MIT Learn programs that offer Pathways to degree programs at other institutions—like the MITx MicroMasters programs—the "Send Learner Record" button will allow you to directly share your Program Record with one of the program's Partner/Pathway institutions.
To send your Program Record:
- Access your Program Record (instructions here)
- Ensure sharing has been enabled for your Program Record (instructions here)
- Click the "Send Learner Record" button
- Select the appropriate Partner/Pathway school from the "Select School" dropdown
- Click "Send Record"
- Note: You cannot "unsend" your Program Record! Once you click "Send Record", the selected school will have access to your Program Record, even if you later disable sharing with the "Revoke Sharing" button
