AskTIM is an MIT-developed AI assistant that can help you navigate MIT Learn's huge collection of learning resources.
Instead of digging through course lists or guessing what to search for, you can explain to AskTIM about the topic you want to learn in simple conversational language, and it will point you to what it considers the most relevant learning resources, like courses, videos, or other materials.
AskTIM is also integrated into certain courses and programs on the MIT Learn learning platform, like the new Universal AI program! When you enroll in one of these courses, AskTIM will be available, directly within the Courseware, and can help:
- Provide quick explanations of video lectures — to help you better understand the material
- Review key ideas from lectures with you — to help you study and attain deeper understanding of the material
- Guide you through difficult Coursework — to help you reach the answers yourself
In courses where AskTIM is enabled, you will find the AskTIM button below each video and many pieces of Coursework (though exactly where AskTIM appears may vary by course/program). With one click, you can start a conversation and receive personalized support!
