How do I enroll in Universal AI courses?

You can enroll in the Universal AI program and the various Universal AI courses via the Universal AI program page. Universal AI products are always available—you can enroll at any time and there is no application or admissions process.

Enrollment in most parts of the Universal AI program requires payment. However, Universal AI Foundations Course 1 is available for free enrollment so that you can get a feel for the program's content and structure before purchasing. See below for more information about Foundations Course 1.

Purchase Options

The Universal AI program can be purchased in one of two ways. You can purchase the whole program upfront, as a program bundle—which offers a discounted price, or you can purchase the program's Foundations courses (and optionally the Verticals courses) individually. (Except for Foundations Course 1)

Both purchase options provide access to the same Universal AI courses and modules, and award the same Universal AI program certificate, course certificates, and module certificates. The only differences are that learners who purchase the Universal AI program bundle gain access to all content immediately, while learners who purchase Universal AI courses gain access only to the content they have so far purchased.

How to Enroll

To enroll in the Universal AI program, follow these instructions:

You must have an MIT Learn account to enroll in the program and/or courses. If you don't already have an account, see this FAQ article for instructions.

1. Log in to your MIT Learn account.
2. Navigate to the MIT Learn front page and click the Universal AI program's "New on MIT Learn" card to reach its program page.

To purchase and enroll in the whole Universal AI Program

• On the Universal AI program page: Click the red "Enroll Now" button on the right side of the window.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase.
• Once completed, you will be taken to your MIT Learn dashboard, where all of your Universal AI program content will be presented, ready to start. You will also receive a purchase receipt by email.
  • Locate the card for the Universal AI module you want to start with and click the "Start Module" button to get learning.

To purchase and enroll in a specific Universal AI Foundations or Verticals Course

• On the Universal AI program page: Scroll down and locate the appropriate course card. Click the card to be taken to its course page.
• Click the red "Enroll Now" button on the right side of the window.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase.
• Once completed, you will be taken to your MIT Learn dashboard, where your purchased Universal AI program content will be presented, ready to start. You will also receive a purchase receipt by email.

To try out the Universal AI program for free

• On the Universal AI program page: Scroll down to the card for the first Foundations course. It should show "Free" in the top-right. Click the card to be taken to its course page.
• Click the red "Enroll for Free" button on the right side of the window.
• You will be enrolled and taken to your MIT Learn dashboard, where your purchased Universal AI program content will be presented, ready to start.
