To create an MIT Learn account, you must:
- Have access to an email address
- Be 13 years old or older
- Provide certain information about yourself, including your full name
As part of the account creation process and/or when enrolling in an MIT Learn offering, you must also provide certain additional information, including your country of residence. You may also be prompted to enter certain additional optional information to enable certain MIT Learn site features.
If you possess an account on the edX.org learning platform with which you enrolled in MITx courses offered on that platform in the past, then you can retain access to information about these enrollments (and any certificates you may have earned for them) on the MIT Learn platform.
To do so, you must use the same email address associated with your edX.org account when creating your MIT Learn account
We care about the confidentiality and security of your personal information. Please see the MIT Learn Privacy Policy for more information about what information about you we collect and how we use that information
Please also be advised that because of U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) restrictions and other U.S. federal regulations, learners residing in one or more of the following countries or regions may not create an MIT Learn account or enroll in some or all MIT Learn offerings: Iran, Cuba, North Korea and the Crimea, Donetsk People's Republic and Luhansk People's Republic regions of Ukraine. See the MIT Learn Terms of Service for more details.
