For the Statistics and Data Science (SDS) MicroMasters Program Credential, the certificate issuance works as follows:
Each time you complete an SDS MicroMasters course on the Certificate (Paid) enrollment track and achieve a passing score, you will receive an MITx MicroMasters Course Certificate. This means that you will receive five Course Certificates by the time you complete the SDS MicroMasters program: two for the shared Core Courses; two for the courses specific to your chosen Program Track; and one for the Capstone Exam course.
Once you earn the Course Certificate for the Capstone Exam course, you will automatically receive the MITx MicroMasters Program Credential in Statistics and Data Science (SDS).
