After your SDS MicroMasters course session ends, continued access to course materials will depend on your enrollment status for that session: audit (free) track enrollment or certificate (paid) track enrollment.
- Certificate Track Learners will retain access to most course materials after the course session ends, indefinitely, as an archived course. The following course materials typically remain available: lectures, course readings, Coursework Assignments, and other relevant materials. However, exams and other assessments may not be available.
- Audit Learners: Audit learners will lose all access to the course, including any progress they made, shortly after the session ends. To maintain access to the learning materials, audit learners can enroll as an auditor in any future run of the course.
Once a course becomes archived, it is no longer possible to submit any coursework, the course staff and TA Team are no longer be available to assist learners, the discussion forums close, and it is no longer possible to earn the course certificate.
