All SCM MicroMasters courses are offered on MIT Learn and are covered by the MIT Learn Terms of Service Refund Policy.
You may receive a refund of payment made for the SCM MicroMasters Program Bundle or SCM MicroMasters course upgrades if you submit a formal refund request within seven days after the date of purchase, or seven days after the start date of a purchased course session, whichever is later—with an absolute maximum of 170 days from the payment date. Once the Refund Period for a purchase ends, all payment is final with no exceptions.
You do not need to unenroll yourself from the SCM MicroMasters Program (if you purchased the Program Bundle) or any SCM MicroMasters course (if you purchased/upgraded one or more courses individually).
To request a refund, you must email mitlearn-support@mit.edu. Your refund request message must include: your full name, the order number from your purchase receipt (and/or a PDF copy of your receipt), and a description of exactly which items you want refunded. Refunds granted will be applied to the original payment method and may take up to two billing cycles to process.
Exclusions to the Refund Policy:
No refund can be provided if you have already completed the course or program. That is, if you accessed all of the required modules, completed/submitted all required assessments, or were awarded a Certificate for the purchased offering.
You will not be entitled to a refund if MIT Learn terminates your access to the purchased offering for a breach of the MIT Learn Terms of Service and you do not cure the breach within 30 days of being notified.
