The MMFin Team will notify all learners who submitted a complete Application during an MMFin course session once Decisions are released. The email notification will communicate whether the learner will receive Financial Assistance for that session:
- For MMFin Content Courses, Financial Assistance Applications are processed and Decisions & Awards are released all at once after the end of a course session's Application Period. Awards are then released within 10 days
- For the MMFin Comprehensive Final Exam (CFx) course, Applications are processed as soon as they are submitted and Decisions & Awards are released to each applicant as quickly as possible
If you were awarded Financial Assistance, you will receive a congratulations email containing your discount coupon and instructions for how to apply it to upgrade your enrollment in the course session. If you were not awarded Assistance, you will receive a condolences email.
Important Note About Coupon Expiration
Financial Assistance Coupons for MMFin courses must be used to upgrade your enrollment in the course session they were granted for—before the session's Payment Deadline.
- For MMFin Content Courses: Financial Assistance Decisions are released around four to five weeks before a session's Payment Deadline, providing ample time to complete the upgrade process
- For the MMFin CFx course: Decisions are released individually, as quickly as possible. Depending on when you submit your Application during a CFx course session, you may have as much as 4–5 weeks to complete the upgrade process—or as little as 1–2 weeks
In any case, if you fail to use your discount coupon to upgrade your enrollment before the session's Payment Deadline, your coupon will expire and cannot be used to upgrade a different session. No replacement coupons will be issued.
