The MIT Learn learning platform typically issues certificates for self-paced learning resources—like the Universal AI program—within about 24 hours of meeting the completion criteria. While it doesn't usually take that long, in some cases it can take even longer.
In most cases, the reason why a Universal AI certificate hasn't appeared on your MIT Learn dashboard is either because you haven't waited long enough after meeting the completion criteria or because you haven't met the completion criteria yet.
The first thing you should do is double-check that you have actually met the completion criteria, as described in these two FAQ articles. If you're sure that you have met the criteria, we ask that you wait for at least a few days before reaching out to the Customer Support team. Most problems of this kind resolve themselves automatically, and once the learning platform catches up, it should issue your certificate.
| Important Note: Universal AI Foundations Course 1 and its Modules do not award any certificates. The individual Modules do not award Module Certificates upon completion, and the Course does not award a Course Certificate upon completion of all its Modules. However, the completion criteria for these items is otherwise identical to the other Foundations Courses and Modules. For more information, see this FAQ article |
However, if you are sure that you've met the completion criteria and you've been waiting for more than one business week, and you still can't see your certificate, please reach out to the Universal AI Support Team for further assistance by clicking the "Contact Us" button below, or clicking this link.
Be sure to include specific information about your situation, including the exact name of the Universal AI module or course affected.
